Car Hire Malaga Airport FAQs

The minimum age to rent and drive a vehicle with Autos Paris is 23 years old. The driver must also have held a valid driving licence for at least two years.

The main driver and all additional drivers must present a valid passport or national identity card and a valid driving licence. A credit card belonging to the main driver or an accompanying passenger must also be presented as a guarantee.

Yes. A valid credit card must be presented when the vehicle is collected. The credit card holder must also be present at the time of collection.

The main driver named in the rental agreement and any additional drivers authorised by Autos Paris may drive the vehicle. One additional driver is included in the rental price.

Reservations are made by vehicle group and not by a guaranteed make or model. You can indicate your preferred model in the booking form and we will try to meet your request, subject to availability.

An Autos Paris representative will wait for you in the arrivals area, on the left after the first automatic door, holding an AUTOS PARIS sign.

Collection and return at Malaga Airport are included between 08:00 and 22:00. A surcharge of €15 applies to collections or returns made between 22:00 and 08:00.

Yes. We can arrange vehicle delivery at Malaga Port, Malaga María Zambrano train station or another agreed location on the Costa del Sol.

An additional charge of between €10 and €70 per service applies, depending on the chosen location.

The vehicle is normally returned to the same location where it was collected. A different return location on the Costa del Sol may be arranged in advance and may carry an additional charge.

The rental price includes collection and return at Malaga Airport between 08:00 and 22:00, applicable taxes, 24-hour roadside assistance and one additional driver.

Unlimited mileage is included for rentals of four days or longer. Check our car rental conditions before making your reservation.

The vehicle is normally supplied with a full tank and must be returned full, or with the same fuel level recorded at collection. Fuel is not charged in advance and unused fuel is not refunded.

Unlimited mileage is included for rentals of four days or longer. Rentals of fewer than four days include a maximum of 750 kilometres. Excess mileage is charged at €0.10 per kilometre.

One rental day is a period of 24 hours from the agreed collection time. A four-hour courtesy period may apply when returning the vehicle. After this period, an additional rental day may be charged.

The rental includes insurance with an excess. The amount of the excess depends on the selected vehicle group. Optional comprehensive insurance may be available for an additional daily charge.

Damage to tyres and the loss or damage of vehicle keys are not included. Review the full rental conditions for current amounts and exclusions.

Vehicles may be driven in mainland Spain, Gibraltar and Portugal. Driving in Portugal carries an additional charge of €50.

Vehicles may not be taken to the Balearic Islands, Canary Islands, Ceuta or Melilla.

Yes. Drivers are responsible for correctly installing requested child seats, booster seats and other accessories, as required by the vehicle insurance company.

Contact Autos Paris immediately and follow the instructions provided by our team. If necessary, contact the emergency services and collect the details of the other vehicles and drivers involved.

Autos Paris does not charge a cancellation fee.

Contact Autos Paris no later than 24 hours before the agreed return time. Extensions are subject to vehicle availability and must be confirmed by the company.

Without confirmation, the insurance may no longer be valid after the original return time.
